A very rare and beautiful lithographic print after the original watercolour.
Depicting the evacuation during the Afghan Civil War of 1928-29. It shows Vickers 'Victoria' troop carriers (Napier 'Lion' engines) in the Kabul-Peshawar area, 1929.

Frame measures 19 3/8” x 25 3/8”, image measures 11 3/4” x 18 1/4” (includes titles)
Very good condition with some very minor age related marks, antique wood frame (some minor imperfections), ready to hang
