Pencil signed etching circa 1935 depicting numerous sailing vessels both tied up and out on the water

The eldest son of William Lionel Wyllie, Harold inherited his love of the sea from his father and was a highly accomplished etcher and painter of marine scenes. He served in the Boer war and also in the Royal Flying Corps during WW1 before joining the army as an officer. Harold was awarded the OBE for his service to the country.

Sold mounted ready for framing the mount measures 10” x 18” with the plate measuring 3 1/2” x 12”
