Joan of Arc Plaque – Emile Dropsy
Original antique plaquette by Emile Dropsy, circa 1910
Very rare white metal plaquette by the famous French maker Emile Dropsy.
The plaque has been mounted on green velvet which in turn sits on a wooden stand decorated in gilt, the back is covered in silk.
Signed E. Dropsy and also monogrammed 'LC'
Stands 8 1/8" in height with a width of 6 1/8", plaque measures 4 3/8" x 3 3/8"
Good original condition, expected handling wear, velvet has a few scuffs where it has been held over the years and the silk backing has some losses, again as expected.
