Original contemporary oil painting
Afflick was born in Liverpool in 1967 and after a spell in the Royal Engineers he attended the John Moore’s University, BA (Hons) Fine Art.
Highly regarded and very sought after he is a multiple award winner and a greatly exhibited artist. His work harks back to the Classical style of painting often depicting dramatic mythological or allegorical subjects.
This particular work is a good example of this and is clearly signed lower right.
