A fabulous watercolour by this exceptional contemporary artist.
John Doyle became a member of the RWS in 1977 before becoming its president in 1997. He has had numerous solo exhibitions in London and beyond including at the Chapter House in Canterbury Cathedral where this particular painting was shown in 1997.
One of John's paintings of Canterbury Cathedral was commissioned by the Archbishop and presented to Pope Paul VI on a visit to the Vatican.
