Lincoln Cathedral

Richard Beer was both a painter and a printmaker. His images are mostly architectural and he was inspired in particular by Italian subjects, studying at the Slade School of Art (1945-50). Richard travelled widely and many one man shows were held during his lifetime and since his passing. He was a teacher of printmaking at the Chelsea School of Art and also a founder member of the Printmakers Council. 

His work is in many collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Government Art Collection.
